Is The Weeknd confirmed to play Istanbul?

No. There is no booked show and no on-sale. This page is a sign-up to register support for a future date, not a ticket.

Why has he never played Istanbul?

A stadium-scale international tour needs the artist's team, a promoter and a venue to line up on the same routing cycle, and that has not happened here yet on any of his past tours.

What happens with the sign-up information?

Name, surname and email are stored to count support for a future Istanbul show. We do not charge anything and do not send a confirmation email.

The Weeknd in Istanbul: Sign Up to Bring Him Here

The Weeknd has never played Istanbul, on any tour. His accomplishments, why a stadium-scale routing has never included Turkey, and how to register support for a future show.

The Weeknd, Abel Tesfaye, spent the last few years closing out one of the biggest runs in pop: the After Hours Til Dawn tour, one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, a Super Bowl halftime show in 2021, and a catalogue, Blinding Lights, Starboy, The Hills, Save Your Tears, that has made him one of the most streamed artists on the planet. He has said the After Hours Til Dawn cycle closes out the Weeknd persona he has performed under for over a decade, with new music planned under his own name, Abel Tesfaye, going forward.

Istanbul has not had a Weeknd date on the stadium tours discussed here. Saucy is collecting interest to support the case for a future stop. The campaign is not an announced concert or a ticket sale.

Why that keeps coming up

Turkish fans have been asking for a Weeknd show for years. A stadium-scale production needs the artist, a local promoter and a suitable venue to align on the same tour cycle. That combination has not yet produced an Istanbul date.

Saucy has been working to change that. Getting a global artist at this level to add an Istanbul date is not something one company decides alone: it takes the artist's team seeing enough reason to route through Turkey in the first place.

What actually moves that decision

Booking agencies and promoters consider demonstrated demand when choosing tour destinations. Saucy's campaign aims to collect names and emails from fans who would attend an Istanbul show. That count can support a booking proposal, but it does not confirm an event.

That is what this page is for. We are asking for at least 50,000 sign-ups from fans in Turkey who would actually go, to make the case that an Istanbul date is worth adding to a future routing. There is no ticket for sale here and no event booked. If a date is confirmed, it will be announced properly, with a real venue and a real on-sale, not through a sign-up form.

Put your name down below if you want to see it happen, and follow Saucy on Instagram for updates on where this goes.
